Montgomery College-Germantown is hosting a Service Learning and Volunteer Fair on February 10, 2009, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event takes place in the cafeteria and the bookstore lobby in the Humanities and Social Sciences Building. The Germantown Campus is located at 20200 Observation Drive, Germantown, Maryland.
The Service Learning and Volunteer Fair is an opportunity for the community to obtain information about volunteering and to get connected to local nonprofit organizations. Representatives from Habitat for Humanity, Guide Youth Services, Germantown Help, Coalition for the Homeless, Red Wiggler Farm and many more will be on hand to talk about the services their organizations offer to the community and how to become a volunteer.
The Service Learning and Volunteer Fair is free and open to the public. Parking is available on the Germantown Campus.
