    Montgomery College to Hold Part-Time Faculty Recruitment Fair April 13

    If you’ve ever considering teaching at a college, Montgomery College is looking for you.  Individuals with a master’s degree or equivalent professional experience are invited to Montgomery College’s fifth annual Part Time Faculty Job Fair, Wednesday, April 13, from 2-7 p.m.  The job fair will be held in the Theatre Arts Arena at the College’s Rockville Campus, 51 Mannakee Street.

     

    Montgomery College is a public, open admissions community college with campuses in Germantown, Rockville, and Takoma Park, along with Workforce Development and Continuing Education centers in Gaithersburg, Wheaton and Silver Spring, and a variety of off-campus learning sites. The College offers part-time faculty opportunities in a wide range of disciplines, including geology, nursing, counseling, English, math, chemistry, biology, history, psychology, sociology, English as a Second Language (ESL), physics, business and economics, and information technology, among more than 100 academic and career programs. The paid positions start as early as this summer. Faculty are needed for both credit programs and for teaching posts in non-credit classes under the College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education unit.

     

    Faculty and human resources representatives will be on hand at the April 13 event to speak with candidates about available opportunities.  Applications are accepted online only and can be accessed by visiting https://jobs.montgomerycollege.edu.
