Dr. Harry Harden, Jr., Black and African American Student Academic Awards, Friday, April 3

On Friday, April 3, Montgomery College will honor 374 Black and African American students. The
20th annual Dr. Harry Hardin, Jr., Black and African American Student Academic Awards program will be held at the Germantown Campus in Globe Hall
at 2 p.m. The keynote speaker will be Mr. Willie Jolley, one of
America's premier celebrity speakers, singers, authors and a former
counselor at Montgomery College-Rockville. The award-winning students have earned at least 24 credits with a minimum 3.5 GPA at the College.
This
year, 21 additional students who have been identified as "most
improved" academically will be honored as part of the 20th anniversary
celebration. Mr. Jolley will be doing a book-signing during the
reception.
