Montgomery College and Dickinson College Present an Innovative Program to Lower Economic Hurdle to Four-Year Degree

Montgomery College President Dr. Brian K. Johnson and Dickinson College President William Durden will sign an agreement to start a new, collaborative model of higher education that offers select community college students a path to an affordable four-year college degree from a private liberal arts college.
Joining the presidents will be an executive vice president from Montgomery College and a dean from Dickinson, who will provide an overview of the new partnership and its benefit to students. Minh Nuygen, a recent transfer student from Montgomery College to Dickinson, will also speak about how this model partnership will put an affordable college education within reach of students.
