Montgomery College’s Pavilion of Fine Arts Gallery at the Takoma Park Campus is currently hosting an exhibit of student artwork through September. The exhibit features 220 works in all media: drawing, photography (traditional and digital), printmaking, painting, sculpture, ceramics, crafts, and two- and three-dimensional design.
“I am struck by the richness of the population we serve,” said Art Professor Joyce Jewell. “Such great people of all ages, colors, and beliefs come to us from all walks of life, and many different countries. These students have created an incredible variety of imagery that is truly reflective of their diversity, and it all works together beautifully.”
The art gallery is located on the first floor of the Pavilion of Fine Arts at Montgomery College’s Takoma Park Campus, on New York Avenue, between Chicago and Takoma Avenues in Takoma Park.
Gallery hours are Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m., and by appointment. For more information, call 301-650-1368.
