Nearly 50 Courses Available for Students Grades K-12
Biotechnology and Diversity. Exploring Archaeology in Maryland. Hands on Art. Robot Factory. Space and Rocketry. Algebra and Geometry. Video Production.
These are just a few of the exciting youth programs with spaces still available this summer at Montgomery College. The Youth Programs division of Montgomery College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education unit offers both full- and half-day courses for kids of all ages. The summer programs allow youth to explore new areas of interest or receive in-depth instruction in some of their favorite subjects. Additionally, some courses are designed with gifted and talented students in mind. Courses are taught at each of the College’s three campuses—Germantown, Rockville, and Takoma Park/Silver Spring.
The cost of courses varies, but the College offers several under $200. A complete listing of courses and registration forms is available online at: www.montgomerycollege.edu/youth. For additional information about summer youth program offerings, call 301-251-7264 or 301-251-7917.
