Applications Now Being Accepted, Review of Candidates to Begin in September
(Rockville, Maryland)—Montgomery College’s Board of Trustees has begun its national search for a new president to head the community college, a multi-campus institution in Montgomery County, Maryland. Nominations and applications for the position are now being accepted. The Board is seeking a successor to Dr. Charlene R. Nunley, president of Montgomery College since 1999, who plans to retire from the post once a new president has been named.
The search committee is expected to begin its review of applicants in September and has been charged by the Board of Trustees with providing a list of final candidates by November. The Board of Trustees will conduct interviews and invite the finalists to the College for visits in late November and early December. The Board tentatively plans to select Montgomery College’s new president by the end of the year.
