Students to Perform at Rockville Campus, Nov. 30

The talents of Montgomery College’s dance students will be on display at the annual dance showcase on Thursday, Nov. 30, at 8 p.m., at the College’s Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center, located on the Rockville Campus, 51 Mannakee Street in Rockville, Md.

Students in the dance touring company, a select group of dancers who perform at Montgomery County high schools and community centers, will present its program entitled “Change: Variation, Modulation, Innovation.” For the second part of the evening’s program, students in the Dance Composition class will perform original choreographed works, accompanied by Professor Dawn Avery of the College’s Music Department.

A $10 donation for the performance is suggested. The event is a fundraiser for the Dance Scholarship Fund at Montgomery College.
