Montgomery College Offers October 3 Breakfast Seminar To Help Professionals Improve Their Presentation Skills
Rockville, MD -- Professionals who want to improve their public presentation skills and their ability to persuade audiences are urged to attend a special breakfast seminar on Tuesday, Oct. 3, sponsored by Montgomery College’s Office of Continuing Education Program.
Media and speech consultant Bret Barlett will lead the seminar and provide a variety of effective, easy-to-learn communication techniques. These techniques will help participants to become more comfortable in any speaking situation and to deliver their ideas more clearly and persuasively.
Barlett has been a communications professional for 35 years, working in print journalism, advertising and public relations in Washington, D.C. and New York City. Recently, he has designed and participated in communication skills-building programs for the private and public sector.
The seminar will be held in rooms 223 and 224 of the Gudelsky Institute for Technical Education on the Rockville campus of Montgomery College. The seminar opens at 8 a.m. and ends at 10 a.m.
Tuition for the seminar is $50, and there is an additional $25 materials fee. Out-of-state residents must pay an additional $20. For more information or to register, call Harriet Lebowitz of Montgomery College Continuing Education at 240-567-7867.
