Montgomery College’s New Horizons Band and Orchestra
to Perform at Asbury Methodist Village

The New Horizons Band and Orchestra, a Montgomery College ensemble composed of members over the age of 50, will perform at Asbury Methodist Village on December 17, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the 417 Auditorium. The event is $3 and it is open to the public; seating is limited.

Prospective band members enroll in a noncredit course at Montgomery College to learn to play an instrument of choice or become reacquainted with an instrument they’ve played in high school or college. Band members receive eight weeks of group lessons and play in ensembles to improve and support their skills.

The New Horizons Band and Orchestra is sponsored by Montgomery College’s Institute for Lifelong Learning and supported by Asbury Methodist Village and Music & Arts Centers.
