Summer Solstice Art Exhibit at Montgomery College-Rockville

An exhibition of artists selected by the Rockville art faculty from their personal collections, as well as by invitation, will be on display June 4 – July 13 at the Paul Peck Art Building, Art Gallery (second floor) at Montgomery College's Rockville Campus.

The exhibit, organized by Professor Ken Jassie, an art professor at the College, is a statement by the faculty of the artists they most admire and collect.

The guest artists cover a wide range of media: drawing, painting, pastel, printmaking, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and metal arts. The artists include Keith Martin, Gloria G. Cohen, Sharon Fishel, Michael Gorrie, Robert Philipp, Dave Lyons, June Linowitz, Ross Merrill, Paulette Myers, Robert Ebendorp, Arlene Fisch, Chan-Kyun Kang, Nam-Woo Cho, Chong-Ryul Kim, Bell Kuhn, George O’Connell, and Foon Sham.

An opening reception will be held Tuesday, June 5, 6–8 p.m. Summer hours for the gallery are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, Monday through Thursday.
