Montgomery College-Takoma Theatre
Presents “Smoke and Mirrors”
Black Box Theatre Production Runs Weekends of
November 2, 9 and 16
Montgomery College-Takoma Park's
Communication and Performing Arts Department will present, as its
fall theatre production, an adapation of Neil Gaiman's acclaimed
collection of stories, Smoke and Mirrors.
The show will be presented in the
Black Box Theatre of the campus's Communication Arts Center on three
consecutive weekends, with 8 p.m. performances on Friday, Nov. 2,
Saturday, Nov. 3, Friday, Nov. 9, Saturday, Nov. 10, Friday, Nov. 16
and Saturday, Nov. 17. Admission is free, but reservations are

Smoke and Mirrors is being
produced, directed and adapted for the stage by Montgomery College
Professor Perry Schwartz, with lighting by Jason Arnold, costumes by
Ellen Mansueto and music by Roger Coleman.
Neil Gaiman is the author of the
award-winning graphic novel series, The Sandman and other
noted works. He is the winner of four Eisner Awards and a World
Fantasy Award. Novelist Stephen King calls Gaiman “a treasure house
of story,” and notes “we are lucky to have him in any medium.”
