“Moving the Ball on Biotech”

Building on momentum from the announcement of Montgomery County and State of Maryland support for its proposed biotech park, Montgomery College will sign articulation (transfer) agreements with Towson University.

Thursday, October 24
10 A.M.
Atrium 2, High Technology Building

Montgomery College-Germantown Campus
20200 Observation Drive, East of I-270, off MD Route 118

Scheduled Guests Include
Dr. Deborah Leather, Acting Provost, Towson University
P.J. Hogan, State Senator, Dist. 39
Nancy Dacek, Montgomery County Council Member
Dr. Michael Burgett, Vice President/GM, Qiagen Sciences, Inc.

Among agreements to be signed at this event is one allowing Montgomery College biotechnology graduates to transfer their A.A.S. degrees to Towson’s bachelor of science degree programs.  This means MC grads not only will have a skillset for entry into the industry, they will be able to pursue a four-year degree without loss of credit.
