The program is designed to enable students to explore art topics outside the traditional school curriculum.

Instructors are drawn from the Montgomery College faculty and staff, Montgomery County Public Schools, and the community.

Parents may accompany their children to the workshops at no charge, or attend an optional parent workshop on charcoal portrait drawing for a small fee.

The fee for this one-day program is $70; non-Maryland residents add $20. The optional parent workshop fee is $25, $45 for non-Maryland residents.
