Montgomery College Hosts Discussion about Women in Politics

Co-founder of NOW to Attend Tonight’s Event in Rockville

          Montgomery College will host a political panel discussion tonight, September 23, at the Rockville Campus, Technology Center, Room 136, at 7:30 p.m.  The event, entitled “Women + Leadership = Change: A Winning Political Equation,” will focus on the contributions of women to the political process and the challenges they encounter.

Duchy Trachtenberg, president of the Montgomery County chapter of the National Organization of Women and president of Maryland NOW, will moderate the discussion.  The co-founder of NOW, Sonia Pressman Fuentes, will participate in the event, as will Maryland State Senator Sharon Grosfeld, Maryland State Delegate Ana Sol Gutierrez, and Montgomery County Councilmember Marilyn Praisner.
