Former Montgomery College Students of "Blair Witch" Fame
To Speak to Current Students about the Film Business
Thursday, October 14, 1999
7:30 p.m.
Montgomery College Rockville Campus
51 Mannakee Street, Rockville, Maryland
Technical Building Lecture Hall (Room 136)
Two former Montgomery College students -- who unlike the characters in their widely acclaimed, box-office smash independent film, The Blair Witch Project, did not mysteriously disappear in the woods of Burkittsville, Maryland – will visit their alma mater to discuss the independent film business with current MC students.

Neal Fredericks, The Blair Witch Project’s director of photography, and Rick Moreno, the film’s art director, will speak to the group on independent feature film-making and share their unique perspectives on the film business and on the experience of having been a part of "Blair Witch." A third alumnus of Montgomery College, Eduardo Sanchez, was the co-director and co-writer of The Blair Witch Project. He will not be on hand for this talk, but did return to Montgomery College for a special screening of "Blair Witch" last spring, prior to its release.

Also participating in Thursday’s forum will be Ann Lu, director of the independent feature film, Dreamers, which will be screened this Sunday in Baltimore.
