(Rockville, Maryland) Internationally known jazz flautist Galen Abdur-Razzaq will perform and lead a discussion on the social and historic significance of jazz music, during an interactive performance on Wednesday, October 20, noon, at Montgomery Colleges Rockville Campus, in the Theatre Arts Building arena. The campus is located at 51 Mannakee Street, Rockville.
Galen, who is from Montclair, New Jersey, has performed both internationally and domestically for more than 30 years, having played with other world-renowned artists such as pianist Billy Taylor, Houston Person, Melba Moore, Sun Ra, Sonny Phillips, John Patton and many others.
