NBA Star Jerome Williams to Visit Montgomery College Aug. 9
New York Knicks Forward to Hold Q-and-A Session with Local Basketball Players

WHO:  New York Knicks power forward Jerome Williams, Montgomery College class of 1994, is a nine-year veteran of the NBA. Drafted by the Detroit Pistons with the 26th overall pick in the first round in 1996, Williams also played for the Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls. While at Montgomery College, he averaged 23 points and 17 rebounds per game, and he took statewide MVP honors in his sophomore year, before transferring to Georgetown, where he played with Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Allen Iverson. In both seasons at Georgetown, Williams earned Third Team All-Big East honors. Williams was inducted into the Montgomery College Athletic Hall of Fame this April.

WHAT:  Jerome Williams will hold a question-and-answer session with more than 100 aspiring NBA players.  Additionally, he’ll meet the players at a reception and sign autographs.
