Montgomery College Hosts Digital Illustration Exhibit
“Digital Illustration: Electronic Art that Communicates” showcases the work of illustrators Craig Frazier, Patricia Johannsen, William Low, Whitney Sherman, Nancy Stahl, Martha Vaughan, and John Yanson. The artists have created illustrations for greeting cards, picture books, postage stamps, posters, and magazines. Their work demonstrates the artistry of visual story-telling and a mastery of digital techniques, ranging from collage to airbrush to painting.
Gallery hours are Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–10 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. For more information about the “Digital Illustration” exhibit or the Communication Arts Technologies program at Montgomery College, contact Martha Vaughan, director of the gallery, at 301-251-7521.
