News Release Date: November 7, 2007 Montgomery College’s Macklin Center for Entrepreneurship Launches Business Forum Series
The Macklin Center for Entrepreneurship of Montgomery College will present a series of three business forums for students and the community at each of the College’s campuses on November 14, 28 and December 3. The forums, which focus on business trends and opportunities, will feature leaders in the biotechnology, homeland security, and digital graphics industries. Speakers will discuss new developments in their industry sectors and employment opportunities for students looking to enter these fields in the future. “These forums are designed to give students and the outside community a view of industry sectors vital to our economy and insight into where they might find employment as they proceed with their education and training,” said Dr. Robert Snyder, director of the Macklin Center for Entrepreneurship. The schedule of the forums is: The Macklin Center for Entrepreneurship is a division of Montgomery College’s Macklin Business Institute, founded by Gordon and Marilyn Macklin to support the education of the next generation of entrepreneurs and support small businesses. The Business Forum series is made possible through a grant from the Make It Happen Innovation Grant program, which is funded by the Montgomery College Foundation. # # # |
