Montgomery College Trustees to Announce Selection of New President

Directions to and around the campus can be found at: http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/maps/Rvic.html Members of the Montgomery College Board of Trustees will publicly announce the candidate they have selected to serve as the next president of Montgomery College, a multi-campus community college in Montgomery County, Maryland. The announcement event, open to the public, will be attended by students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends of the college, as well as by members of the greater community. The presidential selection marks the culmination of a six-month, nationwide process that has taken place to fill the vacancy that will be left upon the upcoming retirement of current president Dr. Charlene R. Nunley. A presidential search advisory committee made up of Montgomery College students, faculty, students, alumni, and community leaders reviewed more than 70 applications for the position, before selecting 10 for confidential interviews and, ultimately, making recommendations to the Board of Trustees on a group of finalists that were invited for a series of public forums and visits to the College’s three campuses. # # #
