Program: Physical Therapist Assistant
Before MC:: Self employed as a Transcriber. Completed 35 credits in general education at MC before acceptance into the Physical Therapist Assistant program
    
During and After MC:  Earned an Associate of Arts degree with a total of 90 credits completed at MC. Position: Physical Therapist Assistant, $30,000, Stamper Physical Therapy and Associates.  I assist in providing physical therapy services to patients.

Future Plans:  Obtain a bachelor's degree in a related field.  Earn certification in special interest areas in physical therapy.  Combine my training with my dance background to work in the area of rehabilitating dancers.

Before MC:: Completed 12 credit hours and worked as an Adopting Coordinator for D.C. Animal Shelter, Washington Humane Society.  Salary: $24,000.  Managed adoption program for animal shelter    
During and After MC:  Earned an Associate of Arts degree.  Currently employed as a Physical Therapist Assistant for Metro Orthopedics and Sports Therapy.  Salary: $31,000.  Rehabilitate athletes, elderly and general population from injury, disease or surgery.
Future Plans and Comments:  I enjoy this career I now have!   It's great!!  Thanks!
