Marianne Ragins, author of "Winning Scholarships for College" 
“The Scholarship Workshop,” presented
by Marianne Ragins, author of “ Winning Scholarships
for College.” Ragins will give advice on writing
resumes and essays for scholarship applications. She
will also talk about how to find scholarship organizations
and how to use the Internet in your search. Ragins is
the author of “Winning Scholarships for College:
An Insider’s Guide.” Her book, currently
in its third edition, provides scholarship information,
but also shares Ragins’ own experiences of earning
more than $400,000 in scholarship money. Using scholarships
and other free aid, she was able to pay for her bachelor’s
degree from Florida A & M University and her M.B.A.
from George Washington University. Ragins owns The Scholarship
Workshop, LLC, an educational consulting service.
