TAKOMA PARK/SILVER SPRING CAMPUS OF MONTGOMERY COLLEGE

The Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus is located in a dynamic urban neighborhood near the southern border of Montgomery County. About 6,000 students attend classes here, and it is recognized as the College’s most culturally diverse campus.

Founded in 1948, it may be Montgomery College’s oldest campus, but it has undergone a remarkable renaissance. In the past few years, the campus has added a new Health Sciences Center and a new Student Services Center.

A new performing arts center houses two theatres, a dance studio, classes and labs, and a gallery that complements the King Street Art Gallery in the Arts Center.

SA+D students takes full advantage of our close proximity to the vast cultural resources of Washington, D.C. Metrorail provides students with quick access to contemporary art galleries and some of the finest museums in the world. Students can take field trips downtown and return to campus during a studio class period.
