The Other Africa Festival aims to foster and increase the positive visibility of Africa in the western world, by providing an international event that allows for the participation of video/filmmakers, performers, scholars, Montgomery County Agencies, the business community, and the general public for a comprehensive celebration of the African continent, its peoples and cultures, at the crossroads of civilizations.
