Knowledgeable and professional staff is available on all campuses to assist students with research, and an interlibrary system is available to help students acquire materials that Montgomery College does not own.

Germantown Campus

Rockville Campus
  • Largest, broadest, most comprehensive, longer hours of operation
Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus
  • Special collections to support health sciences, multicultural and American English language programs
Overview
  • All materials available for use in campus libraries
  • Patrons with a valid student ID card or a community borrower may check out circulating materials
  • Students registered for the current semester may use the libraries’ electronic resources via Internet
  • All materials can be accessed through the libraries’ online catalog
  • Provides access to numerous online indices and full-text data bases for student use in researching education topics
    • Education Journals – indexes over 7 00 periodicals in education – over 500 provide full-text access to articles. Topics include primary , secondary, and special education and home schooling
    • Teacher Referencing Center – database containing 250 most popular teacher and administrator trade journals
    • ERIC –access to educational literature from CIJE ( Current Index of Journals in Education) and documents from RIE (Resources in Education Index)
