Advanced Placement (AP) Classes are taking on enormous significance in today's educational landscape. Schools are offering more and more AP classes and students are signing up for them at a record pace.

The summer 2011 AP Institute is an intensive four-day professional development opportunity designed to provide AP teachers with the strategies and tools to engage students in active, high-level learning which results in academic success.

This year Montgomery College will sponsor courses in:
AP Computer Science A, June 20 - June 23
AP English Literature, June 20 - June 23
AP English Language/Composition, June 27 - June 30
AP U.S. History, June 20 - June 23
AP World History, June 20 - June 23
