Advanced Placement (AP) Classes are taking on enormous significance in today's educational landscape. Schools are offering more and more AP classes and students are signing up for them at a record pace.

The AP Institute is an intensive four-day professional development opportunity designed to provide AP teachers with the strategies and tools to engage students in active, high-level learning which results in academic success.

This year Montgomery College will sponsor four courses in:
AP English Literature , June 23 - June 26
AP Spanish, June 23 - June 26
AP U.S. History, June 30 - July 3 **change of date
AP English Language/Composition, June 30 - July 3,

All four seminars will be taught by outstanding and experienced practitioners who will provide a range of enriching experiences that will introduce you to AP instruction, or sharpen your existing skills and knowledge. The seminars run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for 4 days and include breakfast and lunch.
