Small Business Programs
Small Business Programs at Montgomery College offer noncredit training and education to residents, employees, and employers. These programs are designed to assist both those people who want to start a business and those who have an existing small businesses. A wide range of courses include: Starting a Business, Import/Export, Non-Profit, Home Improvement Licensure, Home Inspection, Law and Business Basics, Consulting, Legal Issues, Franchising, and more. Business Entrepreneur Success Training (BEST). The BEST program is designed to help you begin and grow your business, learn to develop new entrepreneurial skills and strengthen existing ones. Course listings include: Starting a Successful Business, Marketing Strategies for Small Business, Legal and Tax Consequences of Starting a Business and more!

Management Development programs include a full range of courses including Project Management, Supervision, Team Building and courses leading to the AMA Certificate in Management.
Sales and Marketing
American Management Association Certificate Courses earn a certificate in marketing from the American Management Association (AMA and a letter of recognition from Montgomery College. Complete six marketing courses to earn a certificate in marketing. These courses are also open to students not seeking the AMA certificate. See the official class schedule for a listing of classes.
