Motorcycle Safety Program
2010 "At a Glance" Class Schedule

Registration opens on these dates for 2010:
January 25 for March and April classes
April 12 for May, June, July, August classes
August 10 for September and October classes.

Course costs:.
BRC (Basic Rider Course), Course #SFT025, $280.00 tuition and fees, add $140.00 for Non-Maryland Residents.
ABRC (Alternate Basic Rider Course), Course #SFT041, $235.00 tuition and fees, add $140.00 for Non-Maryland Residents.
ERC (Experienced Rider Course), Course #SFT031, $175.00 tuition and fees, add $120.00 for Non-Maryland Residents.

Motorcycle Registration opens on the dates indicated above, and registration may be done by web, fax, mail, or in-person. Students may register at any WD&CE Customer Service Office. See Registration Information, Options and Policies for more information on Customer Service locations and information on how to register by Web.

    Additional Information:
  • Cash not accepted! Payment by check, money order, VISA, Master Card and Discover only.
  • Documentation must be presented for non-U.S. citizens: permanent resident card, work permit/employment authorization and/or Visa.
  • Outstanding debt to Montgomery College will prevent registration.
  • Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes early for class as late arrivals may not be admitted!

ABRC or
ERC
ERC and ABRC are scheduled to be offered in the Summer. If you are interested in Spring ERC or ABRC, please leave your name and phone number on the Motorcycle Hotline at 240-567-1864.

*Most classroom sessions are held at the Gaithersburg Business Training Center (GBTC), although occasionally one is held at the Germantown campus. You will be notified by the instructor if any of your class sessions will be at Germantown.

BRC (Basic Rider Course): These classes meet for two classroom sessions usually in the evenings, and two days on the range. Check the schedule for exact times.

ABRC (Alternate BRC): One day class from 9:00am to 6:00pm with a lunch break.

ERC( Experienced Rider): One day class from 9:00am to 6:00pm with a lunch break.
