Disability support services should be requested at least 3 weeks in advance of the class. There are no language translation accommodations for this program. STAND BY / LOTTERY
A standby lottery is available for Motorcycle classes.

Montgomery College offers the Standby process administered by the MVA's Training Center Manager through a lottery to ensure full enrollment of each course when registered students do not show up for the course. To participate in the lottery, students may not be preregistered for another course and should show up no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the beginning of class. BRC students are to report to the student lounge at the training center ( 4th floor of Montgomery College's Business Training Center). ABRC / ERC students should report to the range (14 Firstfield Road). Students will sign their name on the standby roster. A few minutes before the course begins, name(s) will be chosen by lottery for available spaces in the course. The standby roster and lottery will only accept a limited number of names as the likelihood for more than one lottery participant to win is low given that there are rarely more than 2 spaces available in each course.

LATENESS POLICY

All classes start promptly at the times indicated, you must be on timeThe Motor Vehicle Administration's policy in regards to lateness applies to this class: If you are late you will not be admitted into the class, and will be granted a refund upon request. The Montgomery College program office will not be able to make exceptions. The MVA’s Lateness Policy is explained in the cover letter you receive at registration.. There is no opportunity in the course to review missed material. It is the student’s responsibility to be on time for each class session.

REFUND POLICY

Montgomery College will grant the student one-hundred percent refund of tuition and fees if a course is administratively cancelled. The MVA will grant the student a 100% refund within the calendar year if a student notifies the College of his/her inability to attend the course. This must be done in writing, preferably prior to the official refund deadline date. The refund date is listed on the student's registration confirmation. Students may notify the College of their withdrawal in either of two ways:

1. By completing a withdrawal form in person at any of the three campus Admissions, Records, and Registrations Offices, or

2. In writing to:
Montgomery College, Workforce Development & Continuing Education
Motorcycle Safety-Refund
