Sport Pilot Ground School prepares you to take the required test for the Sport Pilot certificate. With successful completion of ground school, as little as 20 hours flight time, and completion of a practical test, you could be flying the open sky!

A Sport Pilot certificate allows you to operate light-sport aircraft under a limited set of flight conditions such as daylight flying, fair weather, and one passenger.

The Transportation Safety Programs at Montgomery College offer noncredit training and education to residents, employees, and employers. We deliver a full range of approved courses including Maryland Basic Boating, Driver Education, Motorcycle Safety and coming soon Commercial Truck Driver (CDL).
