Cosmetology Test Preparation for Maryland State Boards
This course is designed to review and prepare for the Maryland State Board of Cosmetology Exam. It will provide students who have completed their 1,500 hours with an intense overview of the theory and the expectations of the practical exam. Our new Cosmetology Test Preparation for Maryland State Boards Class will review topics such as: State Laws and Regulations, Safety and Sanitation, Physical Sciences, Hairstyling, Chemical Service and Applied Anatomy.
Barbering Test Preparation for Maryland State Board
Designed to help you prepare for the Maryland State Board of Barbering Exam. It will provide students who have completed their 1,200 hours with an intense overview of the theory and expectation of the practical exam.
Cosmetology: Open Your Own Salon
Are you ready to open your own salon? This hands-on class will help you create a mission statement and a business plan, and as well as going over the pros and cons of opening your own salon.
Makeup Artistry for the Professional, Part I and II
For beginners and intermediate-level students who want hands-on training in the industry of make-up artistry. Learn tips and tricks from the professionals and learn how to create the latest make-up looks. Topics include the origins of makeup, sanitation, skin care techniques, and tools and products used to apply makeup. Learn how to identify and apply the correct makeup techniques for different face and eye shapes.
Braiding Techniques, Part I and II
Learn the tools for braiding, adding extentions, and the different ways of braiding different hair styles. Students will also learn how to analysis and hair sanitation.
Nail Technician, Part I, II, III
This course has been revised and the price is now $250 tuition + $250 fee = $500 Total, Non-Maryland residents add $250. Visit the course schedule to find out the dates and times of these classes.
These courses are approved by the Maryland Board of Cosmetology and prepare the participants to apply for the state required examination to become a licensed nail technician. Course includes theory, demonstration, and practical application. .
Model and Talent Development: The Journey to become a Paid Talent
This course is designed for students interested in becoming a model. Learn the do's and don'ts of modeling, what agencies look for in models, fitness, photoshoots, and putting together a professional portfolio.
