CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid courses provide opportunities for individuals to learn to administer CPR, and First Aid to the general public. Courses to train individuals to become CPR instructors are also available. Each student will receive a two-year American Heart Association (AHA) card upon successful completion of skills and written exam. Recertification courses are available to those who need renewal before the end of the two-year term. Additional information may be found at The American Heart Association web site www.heart.org. Course offerings may change from session to session, depending on community need or availability of resources. Many of the Health Sciences course descriptions include a variety of acronyms. To help you we have provided a key to the most commonly used acronyms. |
