Nursing-related courses provide a broad range of courses for individuals
who desire to enter the job market or are currently working in the
nursing field. Some courses also provide ANCC (American Nursing Credentialing
Center) Contact hours. Course offerings may change from session to session,
depending on community need or availability of resources.
Course offerings include Nurse Refresher, N-CLEX Exam Review, Nursing
Lab, LPN Enhancement, Introduction to Perioperative Nursing, RN Case Manager,
and Train the Trainer for Certified
Nursing Instructors.
Nurses with inactive or expired licenses, who need to renew their licenses,
can take our Nurse Refresher course. This course is offered twice
a year in the Spring and Fall semesters. The course consists of
theory and lab (taught at Takoma Park/ Silver Spring Campus) and
clinical (Suburban Hospital). For more information see the Health

ANCC Contact Hours will be given for the following Nurse Refresher Lectures:
Current & Legal Issues, Diabetes Management, Cancer/Oncology, Neurological
Disorders, Pain Management,

ANCC Contact Hours are given to the three course Gerontology series
designed to provide nurses with the biological, psychological and social
aspects of human aging.
Individuals who would like to enter the job market as RNs should enroll in the Nursing
Program(Credit) .
