Are you ready to take or retake the TEAS® Exam? Need help preparing?
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS®) assesses the academic preparedness of students interested in health sciences programs that require the exam as a part of the admissions process. Students who are interested in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nursing, Physical Therapy Assistant, Radiologic Technology, or Surgical technology programs at Montgomery College are required to take the TEAS® exam and meet specific score requirements. For more information about the TEAS score requirements for each program visit Admissions/Records/Health Science .
The TEAS Prep Courses in Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage are designed as an intensive review for students preparing for the TEAS test. You can take one course, or a combination of courses, or all four courses. Instruction will be given on how to answer test questions, develop test-taking strategies, manage test anxiety, and increase confidence and speed.
Please note: If a student has to take the TEAS exam to satisfy an admissions requirement for a health sciences program located at another institution, she/he must contact that institution to obtain information about score requirements.
See the TEAS flyer for more information about the course options and the TEAS Schedule.
