IT Web Group (WG)
The IT Web Group (WG)
provides client centered guidance and support to the College community
for the maintenance and development of the College’s web sites. The
Web Group currently manages four web sites for the College
Community.
- The Internet
site is located at: http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/ contains information and services for the public which are also useful to College employees.
- The Intranet
site is located at: http://www.mcinfonet.org/ (MCInfonet),
contains information and services for the operation of the College
or for internal College communications and services.
- Our WebCT site
is located at: http://distance.montgomerycollege.edu/.
WebCT is an e-Learning software platform, which creates an environment for
management of courses delivered via the web. WebCT can also be used to support
courses taught on campus.
- Distance Learning Intranet
- WebCT Training
- The Web4students site
is located at: http://web4students.montgomerycollege.edu/.
Web4students is Web space for students who are taking courses which require
web development work.
Work Requests: All work requests must be made through the
IT Help Desk at 240-567-7222 or via e-mail at ithelpdesk@montgomerycollege.edu.
