STANDARDS HOME WEB STANDARDS RECOMMENDED GUIDELINES TRAINING

The purpose of this website is to communicate the minimum website Standards for the College's websites. The quality of information published by Montgomery College plays an important role in maintaining the strong reputation and image of the College.

These Standards set minimal requirements to ensure that information published electronically is accurate, accessible to all users, and follows the same high standards as other forms of published information (print, audiovisual, etc.). There will be periodic reviews to ensure that the web standards meet the College's needs and will be updated as appropriate.

As with all Montgomery College computing resources, websites are subject to the Acceptable Use of Information Technology, Montgomery College Board of Trustees Policy #66001 Document in MS Word Format - Instructions on how to access Word documents if you don't have MS Word.

These standards have been approved by College administration and provide rules or characteristics or related processes which are required.

In addition to the Standards, there are optional Recommended Guidelines which will make your site more appealing to visitors, and easier to navigate, load and understand.
