At Montgomery College, we believe that your goals and your style should define how
and what you learn
That’s why we offer the flexibility of three campuses, several off-site locations,
and a wide selection of online courses. You can take classes part-time or full-time
in more than 130 fields of credit study, or take individual classes outside of a degree
program, sign up for general noncredit courses, and explore job training options.
Our scenic Germantown Campus is located just 30 miles north of Washington, DC. With our new Pinkney Innovation
Complex for Science and Technology, the campus is home to vibrant life sciences and
biotechnology programs, and its annual Athenaeum Symposia brings nationally-known
experts to talk about timely issues in international affairs, the arts, politics,
and economics. The Rockville Campus, now the College's largest with an enrollment of more than 15,000 students, offers
hundreds of courses in more than 40 areas of study. People of all ages attend classes
on this culturally diverse campus, and students enjoy art shows, conferences, lectures,
movies, plays, and more. The Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, located in a dynamic urban neighborhood, offers a comprehensive educational experience
with signature programs in health sciences and the visual and performing arts.
Learning Where You Want to Learn
Once you have been admitted to Montgomery College, you may take credit classes at
any of our three campuses or online. Montgomery College offers fully online degrees in business, information systems,
and general studies. Our Workforce Development and Continuing Education unit—which does NOT require completion of an admissions application—offers noncredit classes year-round
both online and at dozens of sites throughout Montgomery County. Evening and weekend
classes ensure that you can have access to an education anytime, anywhere.
Our state-of-the-art Center for Early Education, on the Germantown Campus, combines an early childhood laboratory school integrated
with the College’s Academic Affairs Division with child care.
Transportation & Parking
Montgomery College’s three campuses are easily accessible by a variety of local transportation

close to the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus, and students may take Ride On Buses
free of charge. There are Montgomery County Bikeshare stations on the Rockville Campus
and on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring East Campus.
Montgomery College offers a shuttle service between the Rockville and Takoma Park/Silver
Spring Campuses, and between the Rockville and Germantown Campuses.
