I would like to know how someone would know if they are
suffering. Suffering can be
getting a bad grade or feeling pain. How do I know if I am really
suffering? Buddhism just states
that it exists and can be ended. What does the Buddha consider as
suffering?

Buddhism states that suffering is universal. The way to end
suffering is to follow the
eightfold path. This seems like a good idea for an individual,
but what about society? How
would the Buddha solve the problem of an unjust policy or a
tyrannical dictator? Is this
philosophy (religion) directed towards reaching nirvana and
nothing more?
