On the TV series "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," there are some characters that appear occasionally that are the religious and political leaders of the planet Bejor. After reading the section on Hinduism, I find it interesting to note that these characters' titles are Vedic. I'll be paying more attention to their beliefs the next time I see them on the show.
