Are there any grey areas in determining the "will of Allah"? Who interprets these areas? How can they be trusted to turn the cards down? There are disagreements between elements of Islam--some preferring violence to achieve their goals while others don't.

While Muslims generally accept that peace is to be sought, many hold that war may be fought in self-defense when one's community is being invaded. War may not be fought, however, for the purpose of winning "converts" to the faith.
