Outside Work: Only a portion of the work necessary to succeed in college takes place within class time. As a college student, you must expect to spend several hours a week doing course work outside of the class hours. In this class you will have homework which must be done prior to the next class session. In addition, you will have long-term assignments which you need to work on consistently throughout the semester in order not to be overwhelmed at the end of the semester. If you start to fall behind, you will find it difficult to catch up.

You need to be READING and WRITING every day throughout the semester – beyond what is required in this class.

All this having been said, I am more than willing to meet with students individually during my office hours or at other times. Please feel free to come to me if you do not understand something or if you feel I need to review something.
