Course Description

                This course covers the design and development of advanced database programs using joins and

                subqueries to update a created Oracle database.  Provides a hands-on experience using   

                PL/SQL.  Backup and recovery techniques are covered, including data    integrity techniques.

Course Objectives

                Upon the successful completion of this course, the student will

                a.             know the basic concepts in designing and developing of advanced database programs

                                using SQL;

                b.             know the backup and recovery techniques;

                c.             be able to write, debug, and document programs using PL/SQL.

                The course will be conducted with lectures based on the text, and hands-on applications concepts.
