INFORMATION HUMAN ANATOMY and PHYSIOLOGY I BIOLOGY 204 4 CREDIT HOURS LECTURE and LABORATORY COMBINED PREREQUISITE: COMPLETION OF FOUR CREDITS IN COLLEGE BIOLOGY. IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN THE AMERICAN ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM, YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED EL 104. COURSE DESCRIPTIONThis course involves a detailed study of the anatomy and physiology of the body, including nervous system (central, peripheral and autonomic) and special senses, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system and body tissues. Grades will be assigned
based on a point system. The points accumulated from the 4 lecture and 4 laboratory exams will be combined. The total number of
points will then be assigned letter grades as follows: 90-100%
of all points = A 80-89%
of all points = B 70-79%
of all points = C 60-69%
of all points = D Below
60% of all points = F EXAMINATIONS

= 400 points
TOTAL POSSIBLE POINTS = 800 points
EXAMINATIONS MUST BE TAKEN
AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME!

RETURNED TO THE INSTRUCTOR FOLLOWING STUDENT REVIEW. MAKEUP
EXAMS WILL BE GIVEN ONLY UNDER TRULY EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES. MAKEUP
EXAMS MAY BE, AT THE OPTION OF THE INSTRUCTOR, GIVEN IN A FORMAT
DIFFERENT FROM THE
REGULARLY SCHEDULED EXAMS. STUDENTS

WORK. MAKEUP
OF LAB EXAMS IS AN ESPECIALLY DIFFICULT TASK BECAUSE OF THE PREPARATION

WHO ATTEND CLASS TEND TO ACHIEVE BETTER OUTCOMES THAN STUDENTS WHO DO NOT
