Biography:
Professor James Gray

   James Gray, a full-time professor, has taught at Montgomery College since 1986. He teaches all courses in the speech curriculum and developed the course in effective technical presentations. He previously served as Chair of the department.

   Gray's teaching style is professional and student centered. He designs the speech courses with the goal of maximizing student participation and learning.

   Gray holds his MA in Public Communication from The American University in Washington, DC. He has completed graduate work  in intercultural communication and international communication systems. He earned his BA in English and speech communication at The University of Richmond, VA.

   Gray is the author of 3 books on communication, including The Winning Image, Managing the Corporate Image and Strategies and Skills of Effective Technical Presentations.

   Gray's honors include listings in Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in American Education.
