BI130: The Human Body

Catalog Description
Introduces the structure and function of human body systems. Topics include basic chemistry, cell structure and function, tissues, organ systems (e.g. digestive, circulatory, reproductive systems) and associated common diseases and illnesses. This course is not for majors in biology of allied health. (NSND) Assessment levels: EN 101/101A, MA 100/101/103, RD 120. Three hours each week.
