Professor Marianne Noyd
Marianne Noyd,
Professor, Computer
Applications, Germantown teaches a variety of computer classes and
courses in
the American English Language Program. She served as the chair of the
Computer
Applications, Computer Science and Network Departments, and is
currently course
coordinator of Computer Applications at the Germantown Campus.
She received her Master's Degree
from the
State University of New York in Information Sciences and has worked as
an
information specialist in New York, Maryland and Saudi Arabia. She has also done consulting work for
the government,
and has taught for the college's Information Technology Institute.
While in Arabia, she was employed by ARAMCO (Arabian Oil
Company) for seven years. She
has traveled extensively in the Middle East, Asia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Europe.
She earned her MCSE (Microsoft
Certified
Systems Engineer) certification, and recently completed graduate
work at
the University of Maryland at College Park in
Teaching English as a Second Language.
Professor Noyd will serve as a CTL
associate
working with new faculty.
