MC Library Catalog: Go into MC Library Catalog and enter your keywords (tend to be nouns) with a plus sign (+) in front of each one. Make sure the Search Type is set to "Keyword Anywhere":

Try doing a Subject Search with one or two words or a short phrase.

Sorting Results and Printing: Results can be sorted by date or relevance. To print, use the button within the database.

Limit Domains in Google: To limit your Google search to reputable Web sites, enter the domain you are interested in searching in front of your search terms:

site:edu     or     site:gov
    or     site:org     or     site:www.archives.gov
 
(That last one will limit your Google searches to our country's National Archives. Think of The National Archives as "the nation's attic" -- it holds all sorts of documents related to our history, from the very beginning to the current day.)
