Searching By Topic: Go into MC Library Catalog. Change the search engine setting to "Keyword Boolean" and create a search expression that consists of keywords (tend to be nouns), the Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT), and punctuation (parenthesis used with OR, quotations marks for phrases):

psychology and (counseling or therapy)

"abnormal behavior"

"cognitive therapy" OR "behavioral therapy"

To search for an article, use Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT), keywords (tend to be nouns), and punctuation (quotation marks for phrases, parentheses for OR). For example:
