- Edit > Preferences - New Copy/Paste feature
- Default document created is XHTML - Important change in DW 8.
- Default save is .html, no longer .htm
- Improved Cascading Style Sheet Panel
- New Style Rendering toolbar for media-related Cascading Style Sheet
settings (advanced). For use in rendering Styles for page displays
in hand-held devices, for example.
- Site Reporting Tools - Will be covered in Web Accessibility - 508
class. New and improved in Dreamweaver 8.
- New Coding toolbar in Code view (advanced). Note, the Properties
toolbar at the bottom of the DW Editor is much more useful for most
items.
